Will I need a tune?
Ok guys, I'm about to purchase an LS6 intake and SSRA. I already have LTs, ORY, catback, and lid. I will be removing AIR and EGR as well. Oh, and will be getting new plugs and wires. The car will remain unchanged after this for the better part of a year. Do I need to get a tune? I'm thinking yes because my gas mileage dropped with the exhaust install and also, just want to get the most out of the car for the time being. Appreciate any input.

Didn't have them tune it after exhaust because I knew I was just going to be adding **** and have to burn through more money on another tune. Gonna be doing this within the next 4-6 weeks.

I know the AIR and EGR are going to throw codes. I already had the o2 codes burnt out with the exhaust. Just mainly looking at maximizing the performance aspect now. Don't want it running shitty and chance ******* something up in the long run.

Get the tune you will feel the difference i dont think it will mess anything up but i know it will use more fuel without the tune. Do you know a Jacob Siebert he got out of the marines like 8 months ago?

Can't remember any of those running around, but then again, I wasn't really looking for any at the time. I've seen a few pewter f-bodys and a shitload of f-bodys period on base. I'll have to stick around one weekend for that jersey mike's meet.
