What happens when you overtorque a bolt?

Default What happens when you overtorque a bolt?

You get to go buy more tools and and call yourself a retard the whole time extracting it!!

I'm usually good about following torque specs, but this was mostly due to frustration and stupidity.

Yes, your lucky it was so easy to get to, There been alot of people braking head bolts, Now that is a disaster

Intake manifold bolt huh...

What exactly did you torque it to in order for it to break like that??

Totally feel for you. I just got thru digging out a motor mount bolt that twisted off in the block while changing to polys. Not that much fun. Good luck.
