I was wondering if someone could explain(preferably the sponsorts) why this muffler and pipes are over one thousand dollars per kit? Before they were around 800 IIRC?

It's ridiculous. All because of some nice looking tips, that exhaust setup jumped some ~400. I don't care how nice the tips are, it's not worth that much to me. Decent stainless clones are MUCH cheaper.

Folks at corsa, I hope your reading this entire thread, and i hope someone sends it out your way.
This is absolutely redicilous. 600 bucks, ok i can pay that much for it. It is the nicest looking kit. GMMG sounds like **** with long tubes so I wouldnt bother. And anyone who would put their oval tips on is on hard crack.
Seems to me that magnaflow is the best bang for the buck? But its strange that their quad tip kit is 200 bucks more then the regular kit, which is the exact same thing, minus the tips.....

GMMG is the highest I would go. I think it sounds freaking mean (some people don't like it with longtubes, but I do! ) Add a cam and amazing.
Although, I think after the cam a Magnaflow might be in order down the road to quiet her down a little; the neighbors hate when I come in late even when I TRY to be quiet, the stall does nothing to help that...

That is pretty bad if it's gone up that much....but I still think it's an excellent system. I am a bit biased though. I can say that they have great customer service and the system sounds great!! Tips are awesome too.

its all what you think the value is, is it worth it to you or not to spend the money. they put there value of what they think its worth hopeing you will spend your money. the last time i bought headers they cost under $200.00 and were considered a good set. that was before all the stainless and coatings were available. now there $500. and up for quality . i think most headers are over priced but if you want quality you spend the money on them. i know this isnt about headers you giving a comparison.
