Default Whats a tall tale sign a coil is going south?

The car idles great most of the time, but on a occasion it will idle a little rough like a slight miss. All the plugs and wires are new.
Is a coil going weak on me ?

not to be a jerk but it is telltale sign, not tall tale.

Now on to the problem - did you replace the plugs and wires to try to solve the problem or did it start after they were replaced?

What kind of plugs - did you gap them?

Is the miss always the same cylinder?

Anything done to the car recently?
