Default True Duals ran under axle into CME???

I have tried the search but the search brings up nothing these days.

I have aquired a CME setup and really want to keep the duals. How much different will it sound with them ran threw the CME tip. I really like the deep droning sound from the true duals dumped at the rear axle. My question is will that deep drony noise go away with the duals ran out the rear? Also will it still sound the same. I still want it to be really Deep and Loud like it is know. I may just mock up the CME and keep the Duals dumped. Thanks for the Input I really appreciate it. If some one has some videos of a true dual system with dumped spiral flow vs. ran out the rear. I would really like to see them. Thanks Trevor

I had LT headers with the dumped true duals no cats and loved it but I also wanted to put my CME exhaust tips back looks ten times better. It sounds like it gets quieter but it doesnt the only reason it does is because it is coming out the back and not underneath you. Also my true duals run under my axle put the CME exhaust back you will like it.

tonys02slpss could you please snap some clearance pics also? I have heard other people that have had true duals dumped and when they pass you going to the other way it is super deep and just a nice rumble. Will it still sound that way just wondering.

i think the cme tips would change the sound of the duals somewhat if not just redirecting it. i like how turn downs have sound coming from everywhere and i like the no tip look

if you dont already have the CME (i forgot what i read) you can do something like this

Clearance under the axle (3" pipes)

Heres a sound clip (Pacesetters to TSP TD's with sweet thunders under the axle to spiral flows before the tips)

Sorry there is a big difference between a cme and a valance compared to that trailer'd out setup, you got the slash cut duals, nascar license plate, too, nice.. throw some knobby tires on it'll be bitch'n!

It's all about personal preference. I see a lot of **** i don't like.. But hey it's not my car.. So who am i too judge. U wouldn't ever see me putting a nascar license plate bracket on my car.. But that's me... I saw a camaro running around town yesterday with a big Giants decal on the back window... Like.. IDK to me that's flipping stupid. but it's not my car. im not driving it.

Hey man it's tough love.. he isn't really gonna give a damn what I say, but at least he'll know, and I'm sure most would agree.

Whats so terrible about his setup? Its not my style, and granted its not as nice as a CME, but i'm sure it wouldn't cost over 600 bucks to do like a CME would. He's doing something different. And i'm a Nascar fan too what's wrong with that? Anyways to the OP i put turndowns on my stock catback, which previously had these nasty square tips that came on it, and it made a difference in sound, even with the exhaust clear to the back with both. Gave it a deeper tone firing at the ground rather than straight back. I'm sure it will be a different sound if they're run all the way back with a CME also. I've seen guys have dumps with a dummy CME just for looks on here too.
