FAST 90 Vs STREET WARRIOR INTAKE

Summit has just released the new LSX Street Warrior 90mm intake the list price is 650.00 which is a steal compared to the overpriced Fast 90-92 Intake. We all know the FAST is no slouch in the performance area, as it stands its the best on the market as far as i know, but does the price difference out weigh the differences in the gains yould get. My mind is telling me any cammed or h/c combo should see a big benefit from stepping from a stock inlet design (ls1,ls6 intake) to a bigger 90mm inlet with redesigned runner length, and plenum volume(street warrior). Especially stepping up in injector size if needed. My point is that some of us havent got 1400.00 just to blow on a intake manifold and TB combo and this intake would be an awesome deal for those of us who cant afford the FAST setup, No doubt engine size will matter which performs better. On a stockish cube ls1 or ls2 maybe even a 383 i believe this thing should be great for the money. What do you guys think ?

What do I think?

I think you should do a search and figure out how many times this topic has come up, and how these intakes aren't being produced as of yet. $650 to me sounds a bit high considering what they are selling doesn't physically exist.

I dont know why summit would list a product that they are not selling yet, its in the newest catalog. That is pretty funny. I know its a overkilled subject but im just curious and figured id ask and see what people have to say.

It has been in their print catalogs for a couple months now, but their website actually says the projected ship date, and it has been slipping to the right for quite some time now.

not before I get in on it! I laughed so hard my dog started barking at me.

I'd rather pay $1000 for a FAST than give my business to Weiand for their Evil Shenanigans.

Also, that .gif is likely the best I've ever seen. Evarr!
