Which Oxygen Sensor? I've been using the Bosch 13111 oxygen sensor for the long wire after my header install. What I was wondering is has anyone used the Walker or Denso oxygen sensors and what you think of them? I seem to burn up a set of Bosch at least once a year. I am not running any cats and have a set of Jet Hot L/T that were installed just after I purchased the car new in 2002 (back O2's are sim's). Does anyone else have a problem like this |
Never used a walker but the Denzos are junk. |
Densos are junk? You'll find a lot of guys who'll disagree with that. I certainly hope you're wrong. If they're junk, they're expensive junk. I just bought a rear Corvette (long wire) one to install in my left LT. I'm hoping to get rid of the constant DTC's and fat fuel trimming I'm getting with the old stock one. |

Well, I just installed mine in the ds this morning. We'll see how it does once I log with it. Cost $100 for the Corvette rear, so it better work well. You should have seen the stocker when I pulled it. Completely coated with carbon. It's obvious the thing wasn't getting hot enough. |
I replaced both of mine with the Bosch 13111's again, cost just under $150 for the two. |

Even my clogged up, carbon coated stocker did better than this. Waste of money. I wonder if I can get money back from Jegs. I need to get busy and do an AutoVE tune so I can go OLMAF and bag O2 sensors altogether. This is ridiculous. |
i had the bosch 13111s and they had my car running so bad that it wouldnt hardly idle! i ran those for 6 months almost and spent countless hours trying to figure out the problems. eventually changed them for denso's and the car has never driven better. i say either ac delcos or densos! |

Denso since last summer and they are fine. |
I continue to throw a code each day with the Denso. I swapped it over to the other side last night to see if it behaves the same on bank 2. |
I bit the bullet and bought some walkers...in the mail right now but i will update how they work if anyone is interested. |
I use bosch 13111 and dont seem to have any problems... yet anyway. |

Since this is back up, I'll follow up to say that since I switched the new Denso to bank two, I've thrown no codes on that bank, but have continued to throw codes on bank one - not as frequently as when the Denso was on it, though. The obvious answer is that I have a leak on bank one, but I've checked and re-checked, and haven't been able to find anything. |
Does anyone know if Denso offers a long wire sensor like the Bosch 13111? |

It happens to be all about the PCM...whether or not a certain brand 02 sensor works or not. Bosch 02 sensors will NOT allow my engien to run at all. Some people are ok with them. Densos and the old AC Delco's work great for my PCM. PCM's are NOT all the same. . |

Just make sure you don't ever buy GM AC Delcos. You will get the box and there will be Densos inside...but you'll pay triple for them. Always buy Denso brand. . |
I replaced one of my rear 02 sensors about 6 months ago, pulled it out of the ac delco box and noticed that it was the same as the denso.Like the post above said,Ac delco's are made by denso.I have had no problems with them. They work great in my car.My car doesn't like the bosch ones as much. |
