im sure theres been too many posts on this but somebody who has done this please chime in.... my exhaust is stock other than a hooker aerochamber... well i'm having a dmh electric cutout put on this weekend and while i'm at it i was thinking about removing the stock cats completely and just welding in some pipe.... ok i know i will throw an ses light but can i just have it deleted and everything be ok or what? and is this retarded or would it be worth it? thanks

Save the time and save up for for headers and a ory. Just my $.02.

I would just do lts, ory, and catback now if you have the money. Seems like that would be better in the long run. IMO. Instead of investing time and money now on a temporary setup just to go back and change it later. Unless of course your not planning to do a header swap. :engarde:

Save for the headers and ory, besides if you do take them out and gut them they are worthless. Even tho prices are down you can sell the stock cats to someone or for scrap to help offset the cost of headers and ory to do it right.

Just be careful with the bolts they break very easy!

deelong4002 04-09-2009 09:47 PM

ha ha if they are anything like my bolts, they dont even have threads anymore, they are just rusted solid. And my car has 64,000 miles. and doesnt get driven in the rain very often
