stock f body damper pulley with slp double roller t chain

Does the SLP double roller timming chain and SLP oil pump cause any interferance when installing the stock f body damper pulley? THANKS:confused:

if using the SLP shims yes. you have to grind the front timing cover a bit.

The SLP doesn't have shims, it's made to fit with the slp double roller!! I already took care of the cover, I was just wodering if it would keep the damper from going on all the way? Does the outside dia of the crank pulley inerfere with the inside dia of the oil pump? THANKS

Well I installed the pulley using a 10" wrench on the installer, no extra leverage. lines up with the ps pump so it's on far enough. The engine turns easily, so the damper isn't binding on the oil pump. I have read posts somewhere that the asp under drive pulley requires machineing to clear. Thanks
