Where do you hook up the tach wire from a tach on an ls1?

Where do you hook up the tach wire from a tach on an ls1?

Where are you guys hooking up the tach wire for your tach? Do you tap in at the coil or the crank sensor or something?

follow the wire coming from your shift light to the pcm. That wire is tapped into your RPM
