Default Steam tube into water pump

Anyone have any advice/pics on this? I have the newer style that has the rears blocked off, only utilizing the front two. I ordered a jegs bolt in ls1 to 67 F-body aluminum radiator and it only came with an overflow, no provision for the steam tube. I want to try to make this as clean as possible since it will be turbocharged, so anyone have any advice as to exactly where I need to drill/tap a nipple for this steam tube? Pics are always a must! Thanks fellas, I really appreciate it!

I think the pics are in a sticky in the conversions and hybrids forum. I'd help out and post pics but I'm on ls1tech on a mobile phone

Here's a side view on my carb'ed setup, but you can see how it's routed:

I went one step further an put my radiator cap on the water pump. I silver soldered an AN#6 fitting on the steam pipe crossover and that runs up to the top of the water neck. This is the highest point in the system to help burp the air out of it.

My radiator is tucked right down in the nose of the car with no option to put a cap on it.

Cheers

This is what I do on all my LSx swaps, I also reuse the steam tube that goes from the throttle body to the LS1 rad. I use a 1/8 NPT 90 degree female/male then get a male barb fitting 1/8 NPT.

Went with what you guys said, here it is. Also, notice the problem with fenix999's alternator relocation kit, I flipped it so the tensioner tightens up and to the right, let me know what you think about that too! LOL

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but I was going to drill and tap my water pump but it is the 98 f body and doesn't have the flat pad by the hose tube. Anywhere elso I can drill and tap it
