I need to know - brutally honest here. . .
How bad would this sound? I've got SLP LM2 catback right now and LOVE the way it sounds. . . . my neighbors on the other hand.
IF I had 3 mufflers as drawn here, would that dampen it or just sound like ***? My thoughts are to make this and swap it with the over-the-axle portion of my 3" SLP so when I go to the track, I just swap it back and forth.
Thanks

No clue on how it would sound, BUT... if you do that, why not just install a cutout, that way you can have it quite in the neighborhood, and then hit the switch to go back to the bad-*** sound it SHOULD have on the streets.

Alright, cutout will flow better and make more noise I agree. I used to have one on my old flowmaster system. I don't mind changing the exhaust axle-back for track use and realize the extra weight afforded by the triple-muffler will only help traction, but I just want to know if it will sound crappy with 3 mufflers or will it geniunely quiet the exhaust. I'm even toying with finding a stock muffler somewhere. Thanks.

put a stock exhaust on which is PLENTY quiet and a cut out and be done....why do work you don't have to do when you want to go to the track?, remember, K.I.S.S.

What about the SLP powerflo kit? Thats pretty much what you are describing. Like with the 3 mufflers. The SLP website claims that the powerflo kit is a full 6dB quieter at idle and 9dB quieter at 2000 rpm then the SLP Loudmouth II cat-back.
The stock cat back with a cut out is nice. Today me and a buddy took it off and put on the TSP true dual kit. On the highway coming home just cruising at about 2k it sounded and felt like it did with the cutout caped up. The cutout with the stock muffler is all rasp and sounds terrible.
But ya just my thought. From the video it sounds pretty mean. And at the track i am sure you can pop those 2 rear mufflers off really easy. And since you have the loudmouth already you can get the kit that converts it into the powerflo.

I think you'd be just fine with that magnaflow muffler. YOu won't need the other two smaller mufflers. I have American Racing headers, with a catted Y into a Magnaflow cat back and it's not too bad. At idle it's quite and at WOT it's been measured at 97db.
I used to have the SLP loudmouth and I'd have to wait for a reasonable hour before I started that car, now with the Magnaflow I can start it at any time.

Alright. I'm not interested in a cutout and I appriciate that suggestion. I've had two before and enjoyed them then, but I'm changing directions and need to know if the new picture attached here would quiet the car down. Thinking of a pair of flowmaster 40s attached to the cme setup. . . currently i've got the LoudMouth system and clearly my neighbors aren't enthusiasts. . .

Option 1 would probably be even quieter than my current setup (LT's, ORY and Magnaflow Cat-Back into CME)... and mine's pretty darn quiet...certainly TONS quieter than all the LM and Dual/Dump setups we have in the local club.
I think as long as you keep your foot off the floor in Converse, you'll be fine.
p.s. ... there isn't a whole lotta room for two extra mufflers between the Magnaflow and the CME.

get a horse and buggy, oopppps thats the amish. how quiet does it have to be? your first configuration should quiet it down enough. i dont think the second will fit.

i think both ideas are over the top and a waste of time and money, the cutout is the best idea but you are set against that. if you want quieter just buy the magnaflow muffler the other bs is just a waste and is gonna be a bitch to fab up. just swap the axle back between the magnaflow and the loudmouth setup. leave the other 6 mufflers you were thinking about off the car lol.
