Default My stock SS muffler :(

alright i got a cammed z28 a week ago, and it had Longtubes to a 3" Y pipe, then dynomax bullet, and dump before axle. I LOVED the sound it was perfect but just way too loud, volume wise. so for now i welded up a stock camaro SS muffler after the dynomax. It sounds pretty lame, lots of rasp, and too quiet. I was hoping maybe that there is a muffler out there somewhere that would keep the same tone as the dynomax, just turn the volume down.
Am i asking for too much or can it be done?
I am just getting into LS1's but i figured this is asked all the time, so sorry if its a major repeat

You might try Hooker. I heard that it is quieter but has a deep tone.

Also, the SLP dual/dual flows very well and is pretty quiet.

Magnaflow is pretty tame until WOT, and it's a good price as well.

I don't understand how adding a STOCK SS muffler AFTER the Dynomax adds rasp? That makes no sense to me. You may be better off with an E-cutout so you can control when you want it to be quiet.

The stock cat-back restricts the airflow over the previous set-up, thus bringing back the raspy sound
