Draining Water out of my Catch Can,Please Help!!!

If you drive the car short distances and are not letting it get to operating temp and stay there for an extended period of time it could just be condensation. Our shop race car does it all the time thru the colder months when we move it around in the shop.

The foaming at the filler has started with colder weather 40-50 degree's.I have never gotten water out of my catch can before.I just changed my oil a couple of weeks ago and it was ok.I just checked the oil and it seems alright.A buddy of mine had a blown head gasket on a V-6 years ago and it turned the oil tanish in color and as thick as Tar.I am driving 10 miles at a time coolant temp is at 180-190 with in a couple of miles....

hmm i have never had like straight water just a real milky oil..like light light brown..i would think if it was coolant from a head gasket you would be smoking white out of the exhaust..

then i dont think coolant water is getting into your cumbustion chambers or it would smoke white..as for the foamy stuff i have never heard of that,,but i dont see any other way that the water in your catch can is the water from your cooling system..prob just the moisture from oil..if you wait a while the oil and water will seperate like you said..i drain mine every two weeks so i never see them seperated..Chase
