If you go to the randum tech website...They say their bullit (cats) gained like 2-3 hp with tunning....can you belive it???? I will find out soon cause I just got those bullits

I ran carsound 3 inch 500cfm cats and lost 17RWHP if I remember correctly. This is with MAC headers.

I dynoed 8 rwhp more by removing the 3" RT cats that came with my Grottyohann headers.

It really depends on the set up. It takes around 10 rwhp to feel it in "the seat".
So good flowing cats should be less than that. Around 5 or so.

Are you talking about going from an ORY to a setup with cats, on an internally stock motor I would say 2-3RWHP at most. Good Luck

I watched a guy with a highly modded LS1 do back to back dynos about this and there was only a 2RWHP difference.
