Hooker Headers LT's

I put some on my 99T/A this weekend and they fit GREAT. I had to get the car pretty high off the ground but they slid right in. They have good clearance around firewall and floor. They did come with the WRONG mounting bolts(they sent ones for standard small block Chevy) but came with O2 sensor extensions and gaskets.

Where did you purchase from?

I just called Hooker and they are sending me the CORRECT mounting bolts free of charge. Tech guy was quite helpful.

Which mounting bolts are you speaking of?

Because if you mean the header to head bolts you can simply reuse the originals that heald your manifolds in place. Provided, of course, none of them were broken during disassembly.

Put a little anti-seize or locktite (whichever you prefer) on them and torque 'em to spec (18-22 ft. lbs.) and you're good to go.

Has anyone tried the stainless version? How does it compare to ARH or Kooks?

That's what I did but I called Hooker to inform them of their packing mistake so they can correct it for all other shipments. They said they would send me new ones while we were discussing the issue.
