Default ARP Stainless Steel Header Stud Kits- Worth it?

Wondering if it's worth a 100 bucks for the ARP header stud kit (ARP 434-1301). Anyone experience any differences here?

I previously had the Stage 8 locking header bolts that were supposed to be stainless, but they must have been a lower grade since they started showing rust after a few years - I never used the locks anyway. I wanted studs for ease of install (to hang the gasket while fishing the header up into place), had the extra money, so I went for ARP header studs this time around.

I've been very happy with mine, but they are very expensive. There are a lot of people on this board that don't think it is worth the money, and in this application (since it isn't really a critical one), they are probably right. I think I've seen somewhere on here where someone had a part number for GM header studs that were much cheaper.

If I had to do it over again, though, I'd still get the ARP studs. They are a very high quality fastener.

I've got them on my turbo car, and they are worth it to me! I've got a log manifold kit, and there's nothing better than hanging the manifold ont he stud and then tightening down the nut vs trying to hold the damn thing up, haha. I'd buy them again if i needed to!

I was planning on buying them simply for ease of install. It is a little extra money, but once they are in you are good to go. Constantly messing with the bolts leads to bolts breaking off it the heads.

Use them on my car, makes installation easier as well.
