I want to put a Borla XR-1 muffler in place of the resonator in my LM2 catback. I'm pretty sure I need one with a 3" inlet and outlet. Do I need the oval one with a 12" case and a 17" overall length?

Or is it the round one with the 15" case and 20" overall length?

Ok, for some reason I didn't see it the first time I did a search. I just found a thread about this and the concensus seems to be that the oval one won't fit, the round one (part# 40085) is the Loudmouth replacement.

Haven't put it on yet but my Camaro is my daily driver. I leave for work early and I take my baby daughter to daycare with it, trying to keep it from being obnoxious.
