I have the MSD wires and NGK combo.. no problems here and my car runs fine.. Parts and labor for my headers install was well under 1K..

Been running MSD wires on my '98, no problems. Some folks just regurgitate the same junk they hear online in order to sound smart.

Wow, this is an old thread.


Second car with MSD wires and LTs....do not even THINK about doing LTs without spark plug wire protectors, you WILL MELT THE WIRES.

Otherwise the wires are awesome, no complaints.

Do you have any pics? I am just curious how they are not ALMOST resting on the headers. I bent mine away as much as I could, #3 (drivers side) and #4(passenger side) basically lay on the primaries.
