what is a good price on stock 243's off a 6.0 ls2, used?

average price is about $500. they can be had new for just over $600

Oh i didnt know they are 600 new!!! He wants like 250 -350 for them, a valve dropped out but he ifixing the head tho, what should i pay?

I would say $400-$450 would be about right.

I just bought $450, 45K miles 243 heads from a 6.0L. SDPC sells them new, assembled 243s for $485+ shipping.

Picked up a set assembled for $350 shipped a couple weeks ago. Not the best deal ever, but if you're patient you can save some money.

I found mine locally on craigslist, fully assembled for $200. I wasnt even planning on buying heads for the car, but couldnt pass that up. Also found my TSP true dual locally on there, they were brand new, for $150. But like they said, 4-5 hundred is normal for the 243's.
