Long Alternator Bolt Won't Go In! HELP!
 

After motor mounts, I got everything almost in, but the 2 long alternator bolts thread by hand real easily for a while, until they almost "prairie dog" at the other side. Then it's really hard to thread. We torque wrenched them in and had it at 37 lb ft and it was clicking about 1/4 inch before the head met the alternator. Any ideas or is this normal?

o and the A/C compressor bolts ARE shorter than the alternator long bolts, right?

Nevermind I don't know what happened, it just went through. Sorry for the useless post.
