I can't give you any numbers, but I have the LS6 intake and a buddy of mine has the victor intake with a nitro dave elbow.

I hit my power-band at a lower rpm range than him. Ofcourse he's also running the Trex cam. I can say that it mean as hell under his hood.

The only direct comparison I have seen is in the book "Dyno Proven LS1 Thru LS7 Performance" by Holdener. However, in those tests, they had a carb on the Victor Junior. In his tests, The factory LS2 intake had a slight torque advantage up to 5,000 RPM where they were equal for the rest of the RPM range.

Probably not. I guess most people wouldn't go with the Victor jr until major mods or boost.

You should search to see how much a LSx intake flows compared to a Victor x.

On a stock application it may not be worth it.

Just like any engine you can over, intake, exhaust, carb, etc it.

I looked into the vic jr too. From what ive been reading these things dont do you much good unless you are boosted. the runners are big and long, and you have to have that huge *** elbow on them. so im guessing the runners get lazy unless you have large cubes or you have boost.

Actually, the Victor Jr.s ports are quite short compared to the factory LS1 intakes. Have a gander:

Yes i understand that, however they arent all that comparable because the LS intake is in a curved architecture, where as the vic jr is the old school shape. i still think those runners have lazy flow if you dont have the boost or cubes to pull more air.
