Default Found this on my Garage floor.

What could it be?

I drove my car all morning, no change in oil pressure, or performance.
Came back home around noon and found a puddle of oil on my garage floor with a few small pieces of metal. This happend over night, no telling how much oil I lost driving around all morning.

So that's metal? Looks plastic. Did you trace or locate under the car where the oil was coming from?

Not yet, I dropped it off at my friends shop.
I thought it was plastic aswell, but it feels to sharp and jagged to be plastic, I could be wrong.
I'll find out soon enough.

Damn. Sorry to hear that, man.

Looking at the glass half full: at least its not a piece of your block. The oil pan is a much easier fix than that would have been.

Sadly, thats EXACTLY what happend to my original engine, my time chain cover crakced and leaked MASSIVE amount of oil for a few miles while driving on the highway!

Luckly this time around it was just a small leak, it still had plenty of oil when i took it to the shop....****, i lucked out....

Ill come back and post pix of the damage done to the oil pan.

Well good catch.. When ever I pull my car out of the garage I go back and inspect the spot where it was sitting to make sure nothing is leaking

Yes, my guy said that was an option, but said im better off with a new one, and i agree. pay to play tho it sucks that they cost a bit more than anyone would want to pay for a GAD damn oil pan LOL

Ya i would just look into having it welded depending on what the damage looks like, i bet that will cost a pretty penny to have a new one put on there.
