2.5" since your lowered and yes 2.5 should be suffiicient for cam or h/c setup. you dont state that you have LT's or mids, if your still on stock manifolds save the money and but a cutout in the mean time until you can save up for some LT/mids.

i have mid length macs, also, what length bullits should i get,? does shorter =louder or am i *** backwards?
and could you compair the sounds of 2.5 inch to 3 inch duals? is there a big difference? and does either one sound as good as a car with a y pipe and a single dump?

most people, as i did go with 12" bullets. and your are correct, the shorter the louder, go with 18" bullets if you want it a little quieter (sp). i doubt you'd be able to tell an audible difference between 2.5" and 3". sound will depend on if you have cats and what mufflers you go with.

i personally think duals beat any Y/catback/dump setup.

I've got Mac's and true duals but no lowering kit yet. I used 2.5" with H pipe and its more then enough. I'm not using any mufflers but I think the shorter the louder... Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Dynomax makes a 12" in 2.5 diameter. I dont remember the part # off hand... you may be able to go to Advanced Auto and have them look it up if need be.

well i started thinking of how they where going to hook my 2.5 inch x pipe into my headers and i just said **** it, they can use my y pipe for the front part of the kit and custom build the back, so i canceled my order on the 2.5 inch and ordered 3 inch headman X pipe, and 3"in3"out x12" bullits.
in theory it should work,,,,,cutting the 3 inch ypipe so that it will connect to the x pipe?

i think so

what do you guys think, its a 3" mac off road Y pipe

do 2.5 i got 3 inch and now i regret because of aftermarket TQ arm issues. Other than that i love them but i have to use the stock point on the tranny since i cant use the G-load brace as front mounting point for Tq arm anymore.
