Default mufflex owners please step in

How long have you had you exhaust and has it rotted out yet ? I was thinking of getting this or bassani true duals. The mufflex is not stainless so I 'm thninking of going with the bassani but the mufflex is alot cheaper . Just wondering how long it will last .

It all depends on how much you drive it and in what conditions. My car isn't daily driven and doesn't see much rain and or salt on the road. I painted it with high temp paint to help it out a little.

Dont worry about the rust. We drive cars in WI every winter and it is not common to have a exhaust rust out of your car until its well over 10 years old.

I am talking tons of salt for 6 months a year.

As a sport car you probably wont drive it in the winter or if you do you will mostlikely not have the same car in 10 years.

Mines been on for 2 yrs and still looks pretty good.

Stainless is nice for obvious reasons but if you want anything bigger then 3" in SS you're looking at a lot of money. Stainless Works 3.5" is awesome but almost a grand for their catback.
