Traction control delete question.

I'm removing the lil traction control motor and I was curious as to what throttle cable everyone was using, and where you got it. I'm using a FAST intake with a stock throttle body. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can relocate it behind the PCM which looks good....otherwise just get a cable off a car that doesn't have tcs...

or....

get a drive by wire TB with pedal :)

....jk...drive by wire sux

A 4 channel f body or DBW?

There are probably several places to find them....I can't tell you where to find them but I can tell you where I got mine. I bought mine on a site that rhymes with "fleebay" and it was for a 99-02 w/o traction control. Its real easy, make sure you fight the right year and get one without traction control. I paid around 40 bucks, and took me about 20min to install. Good luck man!

It was a 4 channel but the new rear doesn't have the abs. Thanks for the info guys.

Yes, as I stated above...If you purchase the correct cable it will delete all your traction control system. Basically just a simple cable from the TB to the pedal. Its as easy as that!

Exactly, the cable will run from your foot to the TB butterfly. Its brilliantly simplistic. The TC light stays on all the time but who gives a shit :jest:

Two cables, one for pedal and one for cruise. I got them
both from the stealership. You have to pull the cruise unit
and take its head off to swap the cruise cable, it's easy
enough. The cruise moves from the gizmo to the TB cam
so be sure your new TB has the post it needs to go onto.
Or cobble something up.

Thanks for the help guys.
