Why all the talk about just the LSx?

Why all the talk about just the LSx? In reading the new Hot Rod, I saw like 5 or 6 new intakes for the LS/Genn III, including a carb intake! 
How come peeps are only talking about the LSx? Cuz it's the one closest to being released or what?

Because the other one's have all sucked! 
Just kidding of course, some of the sheet metal intakes have shown promise on big cube motors but they're a lot of money and don't always clear stock hoods.
The aluminum (Holley/LPE/Weiand etc.) haven't generated the numbers and a carb? You can have that, I like my EFI thank you.

no, BRAND NEW ONES! No, there are like 6 NEW manifolds coming out, they looked to be plastic as well, the NX direct port, and aluminum Carb LS1 manifold, and a few others, as well as the SCT crank were all showcased, from SEMA I would assume. I didn't read teh start, just the new items!
