Question Stock 2000 SS Mandrel Bent tubes?

Like the title says do they come stock? Just got my car and noticed it has 3" mandral bent tubes into a shiny stainless muffler (no markings) with two 2.5 Mandrel tubes coming out. Is that the stock system?

anything stainless is not factory. if you meant the I pipe its not a 3" its ~2.75" OR am guessing you have an after market catback.

The SS option exhaust on my car, from "factory" (SLP)
is indeed stainless I, stainless muffler (looks hand built).
The I is 3" (in fact swaged down slightly to accept the
factory Y inside as slip-fit) and muffler exits are 2.5".

Factory is stainless, just not the pretty 304, 314, it is something like 409 -durable but not pretty. Stock SS I pipe was about 2.75 inch and hammered down a bit over the axle. SLP SS options were better- larger I pipe etc like jimmyblue said. Aftermarket stuff is usually larger and NOT flattened over the axle- there IS enough room!
