Default Need Help Please! Intake doesnt fit, new heads machined wrong?

I went to put on the intake today and found out why it doesn't go down all the way.

The holes machined into the heads for the intakes locating bosses around the bolt holes aren't big enough. The recesses in the heads are 0.500" and the intake bosses are 0.600".

How important are these?

If I ground off all the bosses on the intake then I could bolt on the intake, but I'm concerned the intake may wiggle back and forth and prevent the intake from making a good seal to the heads! I plan on 18psi of boost on this engine so I need a good seal!

What is your guys opinion?

You can always grind them flush then make some metal bushings or sleeves with the correct O.D...I think you will be fine without them though...just makes it a little harder to line up...
