Driver's side AIR hole is cross threaded.

Get a tap or just go the easy route with a smaller bolt/nut combo?

I know the Bolt/Combo would be a piece of cake... but I've got this stupid mental block that I wanna clean out the threads. To do this, would I take a stock bolt to the auto store and then they'd be able to match me up with the size/pitch/whatever???

This is for Jet Hot headers btw.

I would just get a tap.

K, what size then? And I probably need two new bolts cause they're pretty bunged up from trying to force them. What size/thread/pitch etc on those puppies?

Anyone? I'm wanting to head out to lowes soon.

When did Jet-Hot start tapping those holes? They used to not tap them and you had to use a bolt and nut on the AIR tube flanges. If they use the stock AIR tube bolts, they are M8x1.25.

Thanks 2xLS1, guess I could fuggen figured that out from their little bolt/nut guides they have.... derr

I just went w/ M7 bolts/nuts/lock washers cause I could only find standard taps... I felt like Scarface from Half Baked... "F YOU... F YOU.. You're COOL... F YOU I'm outta here.
