Best Exhaust Manifolds for ls1 motor swap
I'm swapping an ls1 into a 68 firebird and was wondering which exhaust manifolds would flow the best and still fit the application? I been looking at pics of different ones but they are hard to tell. I'm guessing ls7's flow the best but they have the goofy collector flanges on them and not sure they'll fit since they drop down in the middle instead of at the back. Need them to clear my steering box. How about ls3's? Are truck manifolds any good?

I'd suggest posting your question here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-hybrids-28/
LS1/LS6/LS7's/shorties/midlengths/longtubes in that order should flow the best. Not sure about the LS2/LS3/Trucks. Now to find something that fits. Good luck.
