magnaflow cat back , ordering some LT's need help
 

so im FINALLY ordering my ARH lt's and electric cutout next friday and im pretty excited. i have a magnaflow catback and a lid and gears. Yes i've had my magnaflow for about two years and i know its one of the quietest catbacks but i like the tone alot just want it to be louder( seems like it got louder than when i first got it) . i would like to do ORY but i dont wanna deal with the smell and i live in new jersey so emissions is kinda a big problem so i most likely getting the high flow cats with their Y pipe.

i know the cutout will help wake her up when i want but im just wondering how much louder it will be with the cutout closed with the new set up. anyone have any clips or lts and cats and magnaflow? trust me i've dont lots of searching and looked around most videos are ORYs though.

Thanks man I checked them out and they sounded pretty good I just wish there was a better idling vid with the cutout closed sounds sick open. Found this vid by him sounds great with a cam.

That sounds pretty damn good I like it. Hard to tell idle through a video, I like how clean it sounds , wihout cats it sounds crackling airy I think.

yea i agree i dont know why some people dont like magnaflow even if it is quieter i think it sounds good and clean, imo i prefer a good tone rather than loud as shit, thats what a cutout is for lol. Im ordering ARH lt's and catted y next for my car as soon as i get $ haha

With longtubes, ory and a 230 cam on a 112 my magnaflow was quiet as shit. I ditched it for duals with bullets dumped. That is the only way to go IMO.. :nod:

I would honestly go with hooker catback over magnaflow.

isnt the hooker catback not stainless though? i heard alot of people say it sounds alot more muscle car-ish though lol if im not happy with the turn out ill prob go with the mad hammer chambered (GMMG) or tsp duals i heard they can be a lil low on ground clearance though. maybe ill have exactly what im looking for with the cutout though, who knows only way to find out is to get it :devil: i do like how twitch twices sounds

also guys will i need to order some 02 extensions or do ARH come with them? also will the gaskets that come with the ARH do? or will i have to get some gm ones. i am getting all this off of byunspeed but cant tell if their gm gasket for 20 is a single or a pair.

Correct, i do not believe hookers catback is stainless steel. But it sounds so much better than magnaflow.

But i would highly suggest going with TSP Duals. It sounds so bad ass..

Is there anyway I could gave up a hooker muffler to the magnaflow catback? Honestly if I don't like how my magnaflow Sounds and I'm gonna go with a new catback im gonna consider gmmg,Id go with tsp but visual inspection in new jersey is a bitch and I'd prob fail lol

Bumping for. If anyone knows if ARH's come with. O2 extensions And if their gaskets it comes with are any good or should I get some new gm ones. I am ordering tonight from byunspeed

not sure, but i have longtubes and magnaflow, !cats, but i love the sound... i can still have a conversation in my car! i think you will be satisfied with it
