What's the biggest throttle body I could put on that would match my SLP 85mm MAF and stock intake manifold (ls6) on a 02 SS? would a 90/92 mm fit?

Stock intake manifold uses the standed 3bolt TB, which is like a 75 or 78mm. 90+ TB's use a 4bolt and do not fit. I'd say the best bang is getting yours ported, because even the PP 85mm TBs dont gain that much over a stock ported one.

So as long as it's a 3 bolt design any will fit?

Yeah. And to add one thing, the 80/85mm TB's use a reducer/adapter between the intake and the throttle body.. I don't really understand the point of that, what gain can you see with a reducer?!
