Default My Kooks y-pipe will not fit - do I have the wrong one

I have a 2002 Z28, I bought Kooks 1-3/4" LT headders back in 2005 and at the time they only offered an aluminum Y-pipe so I bought the catted Y-pipe. The cat on the passenger side started ratteling last summer so I hollowed them out.

I then saw that a member on here who was only a few miles from me had a stainless steel Kooks ORY for sale brand new but no box for an LS1 car so I assume P/N 6502S?

Well tonight I went to remove the aluminum pipe and install the stainless pipe and it clearly did not line up. I overlaid them in the picture below and they are not even close.

Is it possible this is a LT1 Y-pipe P/N 6402S?

Or what the hell am I doing wrong here?

I brought both pipes to a local shop which is also a certified kooks dealer and he suspects because of the tig welds that I have the LT1 pipe, hopefully a kooks rep will see this tread and comfirm based off the pictures below...

Looks LT1 to me, because on LS1 cars, the driver side header definitely curves more towards the side
