slp sfc's and Kook's headers Any there any fitment issues with this combination? I will be running a catted y pipe if that matters. And to go along with that, does anyone have any opinions/experience with the kook's ypipe w/cats? |
I'm running the same combo. It's a perfect fit so you should have no problems. |
Me too. No problems between the headers and the SFCs. Can't speak for the Y pipe though. |
wow.... they really do fit? I have slp sfc's and had assumed that i would have to cut them when I got my kooks headers.... just to clarify, gadzookss, you are running catted kooks y pipe w/ slp BOLT ON SFCs? sweet! |
Yes, I'm running the Kook's catted y with slp bolt in subframes and the fit is perfect! No modification required. |
gadzookss, I've got a question for you. What does the Y pipe do right after the drivers side collector? After installing my headers, I realized that putting a cat in there would be a very tight fit since it tucks up so close to the floorboard. Do they do like a compound bend before the cat to lower it a little and make it parallel to the car? I've got Magnaflow 94109 cats, and this is the only option I see in making them fit right after the collector. Also, what cats are they using? I thought I heard they were Carsound/Magnaflow, but they don't look like it. Do you have any pics of the Y pipe installed? Chris |
Does anyone have any pics of the kooks catted y installed on their car? |
The kooks setup is great. Fitment and clearance are superb :) |
JPWS6... I'll have pics hopefully by the end of the week. |
