Exhaust removal

Anyone have some tips and advice for removing and installing manifold/ LT header? In perticular the passenger side? The damn coolant line to the ac is killing me!!!

What exactly are you having issues with? I never had a problem removing them except snaking them in/out can be a pain in the ass.

Just getting in there to the bolts and pulling the wires... I've got them out to the dip stick and read I need to remove the dip stick to get those two bolts.... I'm also doing poly motor mounts so I was wondering if I drop the drivers side if that helps?

I got everything but the rearmost 2 bolts and the rear plug wire on pass side... Any tips on getting these out?

When I did my LTs getting the stock manifold off was the hardest part of the whole deal we did most of it from under the car. And poly mounts are just a bitch in general ( I think anyone who has done them would agree) I pulled my starter and AC compressor to do the mounts. When you go to put your mounts back in a little trick I learned about after i was already done is to use a sissor jack between the shock tower and the engine block to help line your bolt holes back up. Also Ive read its easier to leave all your pedastel, and mount bolts loose until you have all the bolts started then tighten everything down.

Yea im not to worried abou the mounts I understand it's a bitch lol.... I tried a swivel joint for the last two bolts but I can't quite get the socket on those bolts... Hopefully tonight I'll have some help and that might work then... I just gotta get this done by Sunday!!! Takin her to the shop Monday morning

mite just have to reach up in there from under the car with a box end and cheater bar to get the last 2 off
