Anyone try the TB velocity stack in Jeg's?

Looks like it would accomplish the same thing as porting. Only costs $29.00
p/n is 937-VR-3 on p. 91 of new catalog. They claim 13 RWHP on C5 vette.

haven't heard of anyone that has it yet, but if it does the same thing as porting the TB, i'm sure they will go like hotcakes! it looks like they don't have a hole at all in them like the stock TB's do. at least from what the picture looked like.

I'm gonna order one today. Oh boy- looks like I'm gonna need wheelie bars next! :D

There was a post about 2 months back...good luck finding it, but it explained this pretty well. The general concensus around here was that they wouldn't even be paid to put it on their cars.

Why? Was this based on testing? a link to the thread would be apprecieated.

your right , they dont have holes.
but they do have a slot that just runs short of the t/b,
it is like a 3/16'' slot that the air gose through to get to the ports.

Thanks for the reply... I guess if it sounds too good to be true (up to 13 hp for $29) it is.
