Default TSP 1 7/8 LT's, meets True duals, meets Borla. Pics!

Started late Saturday with the headers, finished Sunday, dropped the car off at the exhaust shop Sunday night, picked it up this afternoon.

Includes, Texas Speed and Performance 1 7/8" Long Tube Headers, true dual 2.5" over the axle exhaust, dual Borla XR-1 mufflers. Unsure on the tips, they came with my previous cat-back and I like em

Without further ado.. pics!!

This last one wasn't taken correctly cause I was frying like a piece of bacon on the pavement, needless to say I was sort of in a hurry. Mind, the car IS lowered.

How much did they charge you to fab that up over the axle? Is it stainless? Looks good.

Why is there such a wicked bend in that pipe before the x? That thing is like 90 degree! It all looks nice. Get some sounds clips

Unfortunately no, not yet at any rate. It's not on the lift any more so about all you'd get is a crappy sound clip. I'll see if I can find a better camera.

500 even, he even welded in a place for o2 sims if I wanted them (I don't need them since its getting tuned out, but still), it's not stainless, but the car hardly ever sees rain/moisture, and isn't driven in the winter. I'm not real concerned about it.

2.5", 3in wouldn't fit over the axle, plus its a little overkill for just full bolt ons.

Custom made x pipe, custom duals, the guy who built it did an amazing job on the whole thing, I was super pleased with it.

That looks awesome, I want true duals so bad. Do you mind sharing how much it cost to get everything done from the headers back? Plus a video would be nice too.

It was just the way it was routed for the best clearance, I was a bit worried about clearance issues, but the headers hang lower than any spot in the exhaust.

Given the poor transition from header to pipe (3" into 2.5"), multiple non-mandrel 'kinks', I think you may have been better off with a standard cat back and nice Y.

And yes, 3" will fit over the axle....

2.5" duals is more than enough for what I have, plus I love the way it sounds. We stuck two 3in pipes into the area over the axle and it was too tight for my liking, I didn't want it to rattle or anything.

It's personal preference bro.

These threads kill me. Someone's spends their lunch money and expects mutual concurrence from the community that what was done should match that person's impression of the services rendered. What I cant figure out is why the sensitivity? You asked for opinions. I wasnt suggesting what you needed for diameter or cared if you liked how it sounded. You wanted to know what people thought. Because we cant hear it, opinions would be based on how it looked. What does personal preference have to do with anything? My opinion was targeted/based at the attempt to build an exhaust system. Dont ask if you dont want to hear it.....bro.

Kooks requires a PH rod relocation kit to fit, I'm not saying it can't be done, it just wouldn't have worked with my set up.

Everyone else: Have a video, but I can't for the life of me transfer it from my phone to my computer so I can upload it. It's not exactly great quality either way, taken from a phone and all. If I can get my hands on an actual camera I'll do another one.

I concur, but I can see the OP's position, with his mods it will perform as well a regular 3" catback but it will just sound better.

Carlisle, nice setup for the price, I'm assuming the price includes the borla mufflers? It looks like the shop did a nice job!
