Thumbs up SLP loudmouth 1 finally installed!

Finally, after many roadblocks, I was able to get into an exhaust shop today to have my SLP loudmouth 1 muffler (If you wanna call it a muffler) installed. AND, let me tell you-this setup makes me happy in my pants!!! I have Flowtech LT's, and a custom Y with high flow cats, it sounds awesome!!! I've seen some posts on here that say that the LM1 with headers is raspy, and has a pretty good drone. I will admit, it has a little rasp and drone @2k rpms, but it sounds awesome, IMO. I love how obnoxiously loud this setup is....thanks SLP, for such a great product!!!!

Loudmouth with hi flow cats, a nice y, and lts is one of the best sounding setups.

I got the LM1 too. I don't plan on adding headers, at least not for a long time. I love the sound of my LM1 with cats and no headers, sounds perfect for me.

Headers with this setup would be WAY too loud, I have heard it before.

You can get headers with cats and swap out the loudmouth 1 resonator for a loudmouth 2 one. I bet that will sound a lot more tame than no cats with the LM 1 resonator. Still gonna be loud though.

If I ever do get headers I will likely make it a "Borla Mouth" keep the cat-back system, keep the cats, but add a Borla muffler in place of that resonator. Those sound pretty beast in my opinion.

To me its 3/4 as loud as with LT's and the Off road Y. With cats you kill all that nasty rasp. Its still loud, just not over the top and it still has a deep tone to it.

The LM2 with cats would be the BEST single exhaust sounding setup, the LM1 is a close second...I wish I could hear a Borla setup in person.

It's all personal preference. I love how loud and aggressive the LM1 is. But there are times I don't want my car to be loud and wish I had the LM2, it sounds stock most of the time, unless it's WOT or you rev it up.

I think if you had LM2 with an electric cut out, that would be the best of both worlds.
