Almost sounds like the tune it WAY off. I've only messed with the original style intakes so I could also be wrong but it's an idea for a starting point

so ud say tuning? there is massive fuel coming out of the exhaust. like i moved the car forward and the was a 4 ft round puddle under the car!
are the 98 99 injectors the same i see they don't have the same numbers.

no 98 and 99 injectors are different 98 01 02 are the same and 99 00 are the same but they are not enough different to make them put a puddle under the car what is you fuel pressure at could be to high after the swap you have to run a external regulator now since you are not running the factory one set pressure at 58psi also check to make sure the map sensor is getting good vacume could be reading wrong i would start by checking them to things also check to make sure an injector is not sticking open as well

i had cyl 8 filled to the top with fuel. the reason im asking about the injectors is cuz i have a set of 98 injectors laying around but its missing one of them so. i wanted to know if i could run one of the 98 in that num 8 cyl. isn't the fuel pressure regulator in the tank some say tank some say rail. fuel pressure is at about 60. im still running factory regulator...

The regulator is in tank.. What injectors are you running & is the car tunned for them? Sounds like you just got a injector hung open.

You should really run a straight tube from your maf to a lid.. Having that filter right in front like that is probably giving your maf hell.

Glad you got it running.. On a side note, if you're planning on going SD, save up & by a 4150 TB for it.. Or at the very least get an Aarons elbow or the Edelbrock 3848 elbow. Also what cam are you running?

im running stock cam for now. pat gave me some specs but for my 370 build witch would be the end result on this car, was a 33x 34x +4 don't know the last numbers for sure. i told him ill be running the victor jr. the only reason i got this elbow was for clearance i don't have a cowl hood yet. when i get one ill change the elbow and put nos plate under it.

the tuner is charging 250 and 150 to tweak it when ever i need some extra tuning.

what made you decide to go this route? I know its prob cheaper than a fast setup. HP wise is it any better than a ls6 setup? Why not just use a 4150 style tb and be done with the elbow? Just really interested cause I'm thinking of doing the same thing.

well i really because im running nitrous and on a budget. my hp goal is going to be 850 900. i don't think iv seen anyone run those num on an ls6 might be wrong. i didn't go 4150 tb cuz of tight budget at the time. i switch, cuz my car was starving for air with the ls1 on the juice. 350 at the min i seen people want for the ls6 and if its cheaper its already gone. so might as well go with something to have room to grow in too. plans if everything goes good ported 243s 23x 24x +4 113 lsa cam plus 150 hit on this motor. same set up on 370ci but with 300hit forged rods and pistons but that will be some time from now.
