How tight do I make the belt on my manual belt tensioner?

Default How tight do I make the belt on my manual belt tensioner?

I just got a new Comp manual belt tensioner for my ride & it didn't come with any instructions on how tight to make the belt before torqing it down to hold it in place.

Any suggestions?

yeah 25 ftlbs and 40 for the nut that holds it in place.
