Ls1 camaro with hughes 2500 stall converter and seems when you drive it it runs good. But when you put it to the floor it seems like it lost power or might be slipping or the tune. Its got 342 gears and about to put 373 gears any suggestions?

is it totally stock when i put mine in it felt greate on launch and a little sluggy on cruseing BM told me it was because engine was stock and I was passing up a good of amount of bottom end on the the stock motor in the general cruseing 1500 and 2500 they said ther 2000 was suited for stock but when I went to the track i went from bone stock run of 13.90@102 to with slp lid magnaflow exhaust and 2400 converter 13.33@ 105 I was spinning about 20 feet out of the hole both times and it was mid 90s day and 60 foot went from 2.3 to 2.0 I was surprised with the gain I built alot of old school motors and never got times like that and still get over 20 mile to the gallon lol and that gain was mostly from converter I ran with lid and exhaust a few other times picked up to 13.85 @ 103

I have headers, ls6 manifold, and dyno tune and my cars ran a best of 13.6 where I live. Our density altitude's horrible! All just depends on where you live.
