I have the Deka "Sports Power" ETX30L, that weighs 20.5 pounds. It saved 15 pounds and works good up front. It also doesn't require all the extra wiring weight and disconnect switch to relocate to the rear. Deka is made by East Penn, and is identical to the Braille lineup. They rate the ETX30L at 400 cranking amps, but it tests at 560, which is just happens to be the rating of the corresponding Braille.

You'll get a better response if you post your thread in the Stereo & Electronics section.

This is a daily you use it on?

I found these which im very interested in. They weigh 13.5lbs and from what i read in the description seems great for my car/great price aswell.

Not sure what i should look for though? Like as far as amps and volts and all that im completely oblivious when it comes to that so i dont know what to look for.

I drive it mostly weekends. It has sat two weeks, and cranked right up.

I say that a battery starting a V8 engine should have 650CCA or more.

The Odyssey PC batteries are very nice. The 950 has 925CCA at only 24 pounds.

I have a Powervamp PVR40 waiting to be installed in the spare tire space. It's narrow, the tire will stay. It's 1,150CCA at 27 pounds. Powervamp is a British company that makes aircraft batteries.
