Where would be the best place to find one? Mine has a MTI on it and its giving me troubles. And what should expect to pay for one?

bare essential racing will port your oem as well as shaner. both will allow you to send yours in or send you one for a core charge. like 200ish for both.

I agree for the stock LS6 intake I would stick with the stock throttle body or opt to have it ported.

SHANER

Hands Down! Thing is an absolute work of art, and is only 125 if you send it to him.
S3 for a manual car, S2 if you're an auto.

Anyone know a way to get in touch with Shaner, you can PM me the info. I don't have a stocker to send in though. My car came with this MTI thing on it.

Port you stock one, its a fun lil project that takes no skill to do,follow a write up, get a few diff grits of sand paper and go to town, the only port job worth spending money on is from shaner, not sure if he still does them but he does great work, but i can tell you i would never spend money on having that done,

I don't have a stock one though. And the bone yards in my area won't separate from a complete motor.
