Are all throttle bodies created equal? Help me choose a 92mm tb.
My car is a bolt on cam only t/a. Lg motorsports g5x3 cam, stock heads, stock ls1 intake, stock tb. Makes 390rwhp.
So a week ago I made a thread asking about how much power I'd make by switching to an ls6 intake. After reading the responses I decided to go in a different direction.
I ordered a ported fast 92mm intake manifold. Now I need a throttle body to match.
I don't want the no-name "eBay" throttle body. Are my only options the nick Williams, and the FAST. I'm leaning towards the FAST but only because of the name. Are they pretty much the same? Is there a better tb out there for my setup?

This is my humble opinion.
I've yet to see a TB with more craftsmanship, attention to detail, and beauty other than a Nick Williams. If you're a first timer (No shame in that) trust me. You'll hold it for a few full minutes and "take in" the craftsmanship.
I vote NW92.

IMO,
FAST makes a good TB, but it's not any better than a NW 92 TB which has probably the best "trouble free" track record of any aftermarket TB I'm aware of, and all of the comparable ones cost a lot more.
NW gets my vote, and my business!
BTW, I don't currently have a NW 92, but I should have one by next Friday!
