Tiny hose on back of intake?

So there is a tiny hose coming off the back of the intake that leads into the harness one way, and some device mounted on the intake on the driver's side the other way. I wanna say this has something to do with the AIR system, but I'm not sure. If that's the case, can I just remove that device and plug the hole on the intake?

They may be vacuum. I just reinstalled my intake and question these as well.

Anyone?

its the vacuum hose for the AIR system

Important correction: the little hose to the drivers side is for the AIR system, the little hose going to the harness is NOT and needs to be reconnected. I didn't reconnect that line and eventually lost the ability to divert my a/c from the floors. I had to take the intake back off to reattach it, and instantly regained a/c control.

So can I take the little thing that mounted next to the fuel rail that the little hose plugs into off and unplug it from the connector, then plug the tiny hose?

They are vacuum and only one branch (driver's side) is for the AIR system.

Yes, people been doing it for years.

the hose should have a tee in it with one going to the air system and can be pluged or delete the other going to the harness is what controls your heat/a/c selection switch and if you want anything but defrost it needs to be hooked back up
