Default Oil Pressure Sensor & Knock Sensor Questions

Hey guys,

I have a couple quick questions regarding the oil pressure sensor & the knock sensors. Well while I was removing the engine from my z28 I somehow snagged the oil pressure sensor & it broke off. Well once I started pulling the engine apart I saw that one of the knock sensors were broke on the tip.

So my question is, where can I get replacements for the oil pressure sensor & the 2 knock sensors? And also what should they be torqued to once I am installing the new ones? torque specs for both OPS & KS please.

Thanks in advance guys,
Brenton

We do offer both LS1 Oil pressure sensor and LS1 Knock sensors. Each sensor needs to be torque to 15 ft. lbs.

Why a new KS harness? the stock one wouldnt be okay to reuse? And would you happen to know the part # for the OEM knock sensors?

The OE# 10456603 is a direct cross to this AC Delco Knock sensor for the LS1 but, the Delco version is special order for us. The Standard Motor Products knock sensor for the Z28 engine is going to be available for immediate shipping.

Ah, I gotcha now. No mine were not dry, they were filled with water. Damn, well there comes more money out the pocket for a new harness. Glad I made a thread & asked before just reusing the stock one.

So you CAN get the AC Delco Knock Sensors, it will just take a little longer on the shipping? correct?

LOL......it's not my company. I've been using them for almost 6 years though.

Great place.....really can't ever find cheaper prices on any LS1 parts.

I always run part numbers through amazon.com, every now and then they also have very low prices.
