Stock ls1 coils will take you a long way. I would keep them.

The LS3 and LS1 coils are a different bolt pattern. Go with the LS3 if you have a choice. If you already have LS1's I'd keep them. There might be a little power in the LS3's but maybe not. I would rally just buy them because they look a lot better than the LS1's

From what I've seen on here, the harness that connects all the coil packs together is a direct plug into the harness on an LS1 car.

So basically if i want to run LS3 coils i need to get the wire harness that connects all the coils to the main wiring harness?

They're all the same connector and pinout. Why must you run LS3 coils? LS1 Coils work just fine. and Besides a stock LS1/LS6 fuel rail doesnt clear the LS3 Coils

Well i dont have to run LS3 coils i just need to find a way to mount my ls1 coil packs to the ls3 valve covers that are on my new 408. And i was considering upgrading because my old coils are hideous and old lol. But do any of u guys know a direct fit bolt on mount that puts LS1 coils on ls3 valve covers?
