Ok as title says I'm getting ready to replace my knock sensors an the knock sensor wire.
My question is will I need to replace the intake gaskets also?

Many on here will say it is not necessary, but I ALWAYS do, even if I just replaced them less than a year ago for having the intake off for something else.
To me, the bother/aggravation of a vacuum leak is just NOT worth the small cost of these from NAPA or better yet, Rock Auto.
Besides, the Helms manual says to ALWAYS do this whenever the intake comes off, as well as replace the throttle body gasket whenever that comes off, NO MATTER how recently they were ever changed.
