Default EGR Hose Thingy Question

Ok so u know on the exhaust manifolds how u have those two ruber hoses on em that meet at the back of the intake and then they run down the drivers side down into the bumper. Im gonna be installing longtubes and i wanna know how much of that i can get rid of and where does that hose go? Also what/where so i need to cap it at. Thanks guys.

That's the air system. You can remove the pump via the trap door in front of the drivers side tire. If your headers do not have egr/air provisions on them you don't need to block off anything. If they do you need to make or buy block off plates.

Also remove the fuse and relay. Do a search there are tons of threads on removing this.

Ok thanks for the info. Ill finish taking it out cause im putting tsp 1 7/8" long tubes on and losing the cats so ill have my tuner delete the cats so i dont have a pesky ses light on. Where is the fuse? Is it in the fuse box under the hood or in the cabin?

TAKE IT ALL OUT! Then you won't have that terrible whine from the motor when you start your car cold.
